Lulworth Castle |
|
|
| Description: | Lulworth Castle - outside view |
| Commentary: | Lulworth Castle is situated on the southern
cost of England, about 25 km in the south-west of Bournemouth in the
earldom Dorsetshire. After the July-Revolution 1830 in France, the king
Charles X abdicated, the royal court had to leave France and went for the
first months of the exile to the Lulworth Castle in England. The former
king, the Duke and the Duchess of Angoulême and about 100 person of the
court lived there between August and October 1820.
At Lulworth Castle nobody doubts that the Duchess of Angoulême is the real daughter of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. |
