| Commentary: | Not all of the 300 person court lived in the Hall. Many servants lived in the village Gosfield and still today you can find many French surnames in the families. By an arrangement of the Buckinghams Louis XVIII and his court moves in the bigger Castle Hartwell House in April 1809. |
