Teyssier, Yvon (1967):
Madame Royale, Soeur de Louis XVII, a-t-elle eu une fille?
In: Histoire pour tous, July 1967, page 271-278.
Content:
The author deals with the illegitimate daughter of Madame
Royale. In the register of baptism of Aarberg (Switzerland, Canton Bern)
she found an information about the birth of a child named Anne-Marie
Thiollier from the 2/5/1793, a daughter of Joseph Thiollier. The document
about her marriage from July 1813 includes the hint that the wife was
"even 18 years old" - so the year of the birth (1793) probably
was not correct, the right year was 1796. This presumption was confirmed
by the document about the death of Anne-Marie Thiollier from the
17/4/1881. There we find the information that she dead at the age of 85.
So it is possible, Anne-Marie Thiollier was a daughter of Madame Royale,
who left (pregnant) the Temple in December 1795 and bore a child in May
1796.
