The author uses the results of Maeckel's Book of 1929 and
informs in three parts about the life of van der Valck, the events in the
life of Madame Royale between her stay in the Temple to her time in Vienna
and the time the later Duchess of Angoulême beside of Louis XVIII. Sare
believes Madame Royale was substituted by the French government and came
to madhouse. From there van der Valck saved her and finally went to
Eishausen.
