It based on the French original publication of 1954 and was completed in 1991 by Marianne Eichhorn. The author uses the results of  Maeckel and informs about all unclear events in the life of the Madame Royale and the Duchess of Angoulême. The author describes all details of the substitution by her half-sister Ernestine Lambriquet and gives information about the background of this replacement.
