The author deals with the fate of Naundorff in who he sees Louis XVII.
He also names the
theory, that the Dark Countess of Hildburghausen was the real Madame
Royale (on the base of 
Maeckel 1926). But he don't
believes in this theory. Madol describes the strange relationship between
Naundorff and the Duchess of Angoulęme, e.g. Naundorff's several failed
attempts to meet the Duchess. Beyond that he describes how the brothers of
the king Louis XVI (the later Louis XVIII and Charles X) acted against the
king and Marie Antoinette.
