The author believes, that the Dark Countess of Hildburghausen and
Eishausen was the real Madame Royale and describes the events in her life
between 1803 in Ingelfingen and 1848 in Eishausen. In his opinion the
Duchess of Angoulême was a princess of Condé. At the end of the book
Brachvogel tries to explain the former events until 1799. He believes,
that the Dutchman "L.C. van der Valk" and the Frenchman
"Vavell de Versay" rescued the Madame Royale out of the Temple.
After a stay in Le Mans by the family of Agnes Barthelmy, Vavell de Versay
(who became L.C. van der Valk after Valk was killed during the exemption
of Madame Royale) went together with the Madame Royale and Agnes Barthelmy
to Germany. A son of the Dark Countess (Madame Royale) and the Dark Count
(L.C. van der Valk alias Vavell de Versay) was born on the 12/5/1822 in
the Castle Eishausen.
